It’s been a good week for being on a budget ….
- I went out with some friends and had such a good gosssip 1 drink lasted me 2 hours!
- I made a heartfelt gift for my wedding anniversry that delighted my hubby yet cost peanuts ( it is beautiful do take a peek)
- My littlest is starting to want to read and write and we have books in abundance at our fingertips from car boot sales, the library swapped borrowed and uinherited. Books are an inexpensive delight and I am so glad to see her wanting to read. Bless her cottom socks. She does think though because M is for mummy it can’t be for anything else and becuase its A for annalise it cannot be A for apple too. Too cute.
Lovely reasons to be happy today.
Reading is amazing and seeing how it all clicks into place for our children all of a sudden.

A lovely list. We also have piles and piles of books, mostly bought secondhand. It’s a wonderful inspiration for our children.

I was able to take a walk in the sunshine with my toddlers – the sun brought out the squirrels. It was the perfect day!
