It is not a secret I love flowers. Just yesterday over on my Thrifty Home blog I was showing off my new flower arranging book and getting excited about growing our own flowers and styling them this summer.

I adore freesia. I love the simplicity of them and the lack of leaves mean are are wonderfully low maintenance too. I love their clean lines and their pretty flowers and the unexpected yellow against purple you often find in them. But of course their crowning glory is absolutely their fragrance. It is such a fresh fragrance and makes you feel you are outside in a summer meadow.
