Friday competiton: Win a bottle of Mon Bebe perfume

It is very tricky to buy a newborn baby or christening gift that is unusual witout spending a fortume. We often want to get something practical too yet also something beautiful, gentle and delicate because it’s for a baby

Well look what I’ve found!

Mon Bebe perfume is essentially scented water for babies. It comes in  clear teddy bear shaped bottles in gorgeous packaging. Baby perfume was a new concept to me !

Here’s what the makers have to say:

Mon Bébé combines the sweet scent of vanilla to the serene notes of chamomile and delightful mandarin, to   create a unique fragrance that will make baby feel fresh and relaxed. It contains natural plant extracts such as hawthorn, lime-tree and centauree, which have been traditionally used to favour a peaceful sleep, relieve anxiety and soothe baby’s tummy aches.

It is of course 100% safe (hypoallergenic and dermatoligically tested) and extremely  light. Now for the testing: my babies are 3 and 6  so it was over to our friends Mark and Laura who have 2 month old Harry who gets a bit colicky to try this out.

Mark reported back to me that they used the perfume to rub on little Harry”s tummy and  it was fbntastic!  It made the parent doing the massage and baby Harry smell nice. He felt there was a soothing and calming effect for both daddy, mummy and baby and was a lovely bonding experience.  He said both he and Harry felt chilled and relaxed after their mon bebe massages.   How lovely! ( He thinks its helped the colic too.)

The bottle of 100ml (which last far AGES) costs £24.99 from  Mon Bebe perfumes. Sold in selected boutiques and amazon,  please visit www.monbebeperfumes.com

Mark agreed this would be a unique and very lovely new baby /Christening gift!
