Go Ape at Sherwood Pines

go ape at sherwood pines

We spent last Sunday on a day out at Go Ape at Sherwood Pines sponsored by Vimto.

I couldn’t climb due to to some health issues but my hubby and kids had a go on their junior tree tops course. To say they had a fun time is an understatement. Both kids surprised me with their courage and gusto and really enjoyed their experience.

I so love to see them out and about being active amongst nature. It just feels such an antidote to modern life.

They really were like little monkeys swinging though the trees.

Sherwood Pines really is the most lovely place for a day out. They had the Gruffalo trail there too and it was fabulous. The kids enjoyed playing on the forest parks and admiring the pine trees and they loved their picnic too.

There is something to suit every budget with a trip to the forest. It’s so good to be out amongst the trees.

Vimto had sent us a couple of bottles of their squeezys to try and the kids were certainly thirsty after all their hard work. We just squeezed  alittle vimto into their bottles and they had instant juice.

These handbag sized squeezys contain 25 servings and cost  £2.69 you just add a few drops to water. How handy!

It’s thirsty work being a monkey.

It looks like you all had an amazing time. We have a Go Ape near us at a placed called Bedgebury Forest in Kent. I must admit, we haven’t been yet (mainly because the children are a little too small) but I’m sure it won’t be long before we do.

They also have loads of other activities there so you can make a real day of it.
