Groupon: Luxury for less

Ah Groupon I had sort of forgotten about you being there offering up your local daily deals since my husband last went away. Then  I booked a cheap and cheerful cheeky little ironing service for £6!!! Oh that was money well spent. Well lucky me you came to visit and offered me a review of your site. I have been addicted to you since that day and now love checking out the local daily bargains you offer in my city as well as good value good and getaways.

I decided to review  a service and goods to see how both worked.

I bought my self a sat nav. Oh I am a bit of a rubbish driver as regular readers know. It took me 15 years and over 1000 driving lesson  (as well as 6 tests) to pass. I passed in an automatic and only have  n automatic license. To date I have never been on a motorway a ring road or in a multi story car park. I passed my test 8 years ago. Unless I know the absolute route somewhere I will not try it. I practice new routes early in the morning on a Sunday so I can sort my route out whilst no other cars are on the road.

I do know to those of you who drive well this sounds ridiculous. I am intelligent but immensely impractical.

So a sat nav from Groupon – might it change my driving life? I  had my first outing with it at the weekend and came back from great grandmas a totally unknown and different route. I put my fate in the hands of the sat nav and it took 10 minutes off my usual 30 minute journey. Wow . Cool. I loved it!

This could be the start of a whole new me. Maybe next year I’ll be driving round Europe!

The Garmin Nuvi 2300 sat nav cost £69 which meant I had saved £26.90 on its normal retail price which sounds a very good deal.

The next item I purchased was a household clean. 4 hours for £29 saving £31. Fabulous. The cleaners is  half way through and doing a good job and is very friendly too. I love a clean home and domesticity is not really my forte so is  a real treat.

So some luxury for less from Groupon..a break for me from the housework and a new gadget that could change my life. How fabulous.

Groupon have new deals and good each day and they are wide ranging form owl handling to spa treatments meals to jewellery and zombie paintballing. I love a bargain and with Groupon you can experience things you thought you could not afford. It’s brilliant. do take a look at Groupon they have lots of great gift ideas as well as treats just for you .

Its been a pleasure reviewing Groupon I know I’ll be back (particularly when that ironing pile overflows again!)

Disclaimer: Groupon gave me vouchers for the purpose of review. My thoughts are however totally my own
