When at college in the 60′s my favourite shoes were a pair of Ravel beige heels that every week were dyed with Lady Esquire shoe dye to a different colour that matched whatever outfit I was wearing on the Saturday night.Lasted the 3 years I was there and then saw me proud in my first teaching post in Birmingham when they became sensible black. These were the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.

My favourite shoes ever have to be some cheap old sandle like shoes. They’re so compfy and I can wear them around the house or down to the shop. They just slip on, there’s nothing special to look at, they’re just plain black rubbery shoes.
    They’re my ‘Old Faithfuls’ lol
