Laurinda’s story part 1 (A million miracles)

Have you haed of the A Million Miracles campaign? I want to tel you about it…it is really quite astonishing.

I want to introduce you to  Laurinda who’s 37 and been blind for four years. She has 7 children, including a one year old who she’s never seen.

Sighsavers met Laurinda in Mozambique and were really touched by her story as since her husband left she has no support and totally relies on her eldest daughter who has a baby of her own to care for

    I’ve just caught up on Laurinda’s story and have tears my eyes. We are so lucky in this country to have access to the medical care we have. My heart goes out to her and her family.
