Review: Build-a-Bear Workshop

We have two new additions to our little family and they are Rudolph and Rosie and they are a delight.

We were very lucky to be invited to review Build-A-Bear Workshop® , our local one is in the Victoria centre in nottingham. Basically it is an  interactive make-your-own furry friend shopping experience. My children were so excited whn they saw where we had come for their ‘treat’.

You can choose from over 30 teddy bears, bunnies, dogs and other furry friends like Rudolph to make. Then, you give it a heart, a voice and press on a big switch to get it stuffed. Its so much fun to watch the bears come to life. My children were completely entranced. You then get to choose outfits and accessoeires (Rudolph got a Chelsea football kit and Rosie a tinkerbell outfit)   I can’t believe how many there are to choose from! Wow!  I am sure we will be adding to their wardrobes again. You can even buy a wardrobe!

When all the choices are made it is time to make the birth certificate on the computer and put the bear in his gorgeous box for the journey home.

Wonderful.

There are 50  Build-a-bear workshops in the UK. The bears, including everything cost about £30 each . It was a lovely way to spend our time and the kids are totally attahced to their self made bears. Annalisie wants her party here next year! Gorgeous.

Big thanks to Lauren who helped us out and showed us round.

I’m surprised to see you write about Build-A-Bear on a website about being a thrifty mum. In Dubai, it costs more to clothe a Build-A-Bear than it does to clothe your child in GAP.

I know! Such an absolute treat how could I pass up a review!
