Review: Regis Hair Salon

I have rather mad hair. It’s true. It’s very wavy in a kind of ‘looks like I have been dragged through a bush’ kind of way. Me and hair serum and ghd’s are well acquainted. If I answer the door to the postman without brushing it or tying it back he looks a bit scared.  I also started going grey when I was in my 20’s, a little front bit never grew back after I had kids and I’m naturally a bit of a dull mousey brown.

I have blonde highlights every 12 weeks or so and a trim then and never in between. Its expensive business hair colouring so being offreerd a free do in return for some blogging services was fabulous.

I went to the Regis salon that is located in Debenhams, a very smart department store, in Nottingham. It was a lovely salon over looking the busy streets onf Nottingham and full of Christmas music and happy staff. Laura who did my hair really knew her stuff  and gave me solid advice and tips whilst also giving me space to describe what I wanted. She did a fab job on my difficult hair and really took her time. She made me lots of cups of tea, chatted away to me, gave me some ace magazines and checked that I was warm and happy throughout. Lovely service.

Would I go back?

Yes, I probably would.  Regis is much more upmarket than I would usually go for but I have to say in this case you get what you pay for and my hair feels fabulous and I like the colour. The regis products used were really effective. To find out more about regis visit here.

Fab hair Becky, I very rarely have time to straighten my hair but when i do, i do like doing something with it to make me back in touch with my self after having my son i dont even have time to wear make up, i must remember im 21 as my friends say ive turnt boring, they dont know how time consuming mother hood is. Hairdressers in my area charge way too much, i go for model cuts at the local college and thankfully have never had a bad job done, one girl bless her did mess up the cut apparently but i could never notice, thought she done a great job, just a shame her teacher did x

After 60 radiation treatments, the hair on the very top of my head would get about 3 inches long and break. A cosmotologist told me to try Regis Tea Tree Shampoo and conditioner. Lo and behold, my hair started growing. It is now very, very long. Thank you Regis. Is there a website where I could order my shampoo and conditioner? I am disabled and don’t get out much, but I love that shampoo and conditioner.
