Soft Toys for Education: Ikea, Unicef and Save the Children

My children always get a soft toy in their Christmas stocking and this year the soft toys are coming from Ikea.

Here is panda (Claudia Winkleman) to tell you why…

The Soft Toys for Education Campaign from Ikea is rather fabulous. 1 soft toy bought = €1 donated

The campaign runs from October 26th – December 27th. We were sent two of the soft toys panda (£3) and hedgehog (5) to have a look at. They really are lovely quality, super soft and a generous size.  They are a bargain anyway and it is a top charity to support.

In case you were thinking it only sounds like a small drop in the ocean to donate 1 euro  consider this
Small contributions add up to a big difference. Since 2003, the Soft Toys for Education campaign has enabledIKEA Foundation to donate €67 million to UNICEF and Save the Children – reaching more than 11 million children through 99 projects in 46 countries. I love when buying presents you can give a little something back to charity too. All the better that the teddies are soft and squidgy! X
