Sort yourself out!
Last year my bath side cracked really badly and it was sharp and pointy and dangerous. Masking tape barely contained it and it looked dreadful and worried me round the children. The sink also had a big crack in it. We live to our means and without insurance we would have living with our clapped out problem riddled bathroom suite for a long while. Luckily we had shopped around and had good insurance in place.
Our car packed in last year on a much longed for trip to Lego Land. It costs us dearly to get roadside assistance then and there and how we wished we had had this already in place. It would have paid for itself in just one incident.
Driving into a car park a few days ago I saw a man leave his car and run to the shops for change as no one could change him a fiver. Coming back a few minutes later he was getting a ticket despite his (and a few others) protests. Always carry car parking money or find out where you can free park.
I got on a bus recently with a £2 coin. The bus did not give change so my £1.40 fare cost me £2.
Yesterday II went to buy some wrapping paper for £1.50. I didn’t have a penny on me. Card transactions had to be more than £5 so I bought stickers for the kids who really didn’t need them.
From the big things like house insurance to the smaller things like bus fares being money prepared can make a significant difference.
I hope you don’t you get caught out!
