Sunday Inspiration: Martin Luther King

MLK’s famous speech in Washington on the 28th of August 1963. A truly inspirational man

Martin Luther King, Jr. (1929 1968) was a baptist preacher and an activist, and prominent leader in the  black american civil rights movement. He used non-violent methods of protest following the teachings of Gandhi.[ He led to the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his iconic “I have a dream” speech. The following year he  became the youngest person ever to receive the Nobel prize for peace for his work to end segregation and discrimination through non violence. A real hero indeed.

Its good to dream but even better to put it into practise. Man can do great things when they put their minds to it.
