Whilst I really enjoy crafting we like to keep things easy in our house. So our crafts are do-able by pretty much anyone. We still seem to manage to make a rather huge amount of mess though no matter how straightforward the craft! Not sure why that is. Anyway here we are..proud to present our super simple Halloween crafts.
Wicked Witch of the West
First of all we made the witch from The wizard of Oz. very simply we cut up two pieces of green foam and added stripes and cut out some phone black shoes and poked them under our mat. Doesn’t it looked great though. We have kept this up for days!
We attached the foam tights to the shoes with Bosik foam pads such a simple discreet way to stick and abrilliant way to get a 3d effect!
Broomstick Witch
Our broomstick witch was just simple shapes cut out and foam padded together (no clue why she is facing the wrong way) I LOVED that we didn’t need to use glue. It made our crafting so less sticky and messy and was easy for the kids to do. (No awkward washing up either)
Trick or treat bag.
Glitter pens are another brilliant invention, they really limit the mess which separate glue and glitter inevitable cause. I found the Bostik range really simple to use as did the kids and very easy to write with. We love our sweet and simple T and T bag! ( I say our but they are refusing to share the chocolate when the time comes… hmm.)
Door hanger
Paper plate a bit of ribbon (sellotaped across the back) and a sharpie and we have our little door hanger for Halloween. Easy peasy.
Oreo Spider
We simply laid our oreo on some cut strips of ribbon with teeny tiny pumpkin eyes. Isn’t he cute and tasty too
Halloween crafts can be super simple indeed!
We were sent the craft box and bostik products to review.
Have apeek over here for as greta post on Halloween on a budget
Lovely craft ideas! I really like the witch’s legs underneath the doormat, so simple and it looks really good.
Oh I LOVE your glittery witch and your oreo spiders – genius!
I saw your welcome mat image the other day and thought it was such great fun. Have you seen the display that Harrods have done this year for Halloween, very similar! Mich x
I’m all about easy crafts too Becky although my two are less interested in crafting as they get older which is a kind of relief for me as I’m the uncraftiest person I know 😉
We always have a Halloween party every year but have always strayed away from doing crafts but this looks like great fun!
Great ideas here Becky. I need to get creative with Erin as she loves crafting.
Lovely ideas, my son loves the pumpkin plate and I love the making your own Trick or Treat bag.
Fabulous ideas, some great craft to keep in mind for half term. Thank you!
