Isn’t this UNICEF bear a cutie?
Vertbaudet produce these bears with UNICEF and sent me one to tell me about their cause. UNICEF is the worlds leading children’s charity with core values that champion the belief that every child has the right to health, respect and well being. In 2008 Vertbaudet and UNICEF formed an ongoing partnership to assist with financing a large vaccination programme in the central African republic.
The objective of the immunisation programme is to protect children from preventable diseases. So far this project has financed the immunisation of over 600,000 children in the central African Republic.
Each time an item from their UNICEF range sells Vertbaudet donate £1, the equivalent of 20 vaccinations.
My bear comes in soft pure cotton chambray. He has a long scarf stitched to the neck. Height 30cm. Machine washable at 30°C. 100% polyester padding. Outer 100% cotton. He costs £14. I am a little bit in love with him.
Within the UNICEF range there are boy and girl rag dolls and a selection of clothes too, as seen below . Do have a peek. Sales of any of these result in a £1 donation to this fab cause.
